Olivia does not like to take naps. She is endlessly lively and has enormous personality that, quite frankly, exhausts her entire family. Her brother, Ian, likes to copy Olivia, while everyone else merely tries to keep up with her. When Olivia decides to become the only member in her newly formed band, her mother advises her that she may need more members, to which Olivia makes the sensible point: "This morning you told me I sounded like five people."

Dame Edna Everage's voice perfectly portrays the rowdy Olivia; the piano music sprinkled throughout the story works quite well.
